About Lee

I trained first as a psychologist, and that's still how I think — carefully, evidence-first, and with a healthy respect for how much we don't yet know about the mind. I hold a PhD in Psychology and a First-Class BSc in Psychology, both from Queen's University Belfast, and I'm an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.).

Before moving into psychotherapy, I spent over twenty years working across different corners of psychology. I was an academic contributing to the science of psychological wellbeing, as a consultant psychologist in an organisational psychology business and executive coach, supporting senior leaders — including C-suite executives at major corporations — through high-stakes decisions and personal change. I've also done community-facing wellbeing work developing psychological resilience initiatives in the charity sector. . Alongside all of this, I've maintained a research background, which keeps my clinical work grounded in what's actually shown to help rather than what's simply popular.

That range matters, because it means I've seen how people function — and struggle — in very different contexts: in therapy rooms, in boardrooms, and in communities navigating real strain. It's given me a grounded, practical sense of what change actually requires, and I bring all of my learning from evidence-based academic work and the practical worlds of business and the charity sector to the therapy to help you deliver real tangible positive change in your life
